Artist Statement
I have been fortunate in my life to have good friends and a great family. The influences of my life are proudly worn on my sleeve. School taught me to expand my vision and explore every avenue until my bank account was nil - oh to be a student again!

My artwork derives from art, music and language. Early influences included the masters such as Picasso, DeKooning, Motherwell, Kline and Pollack.

Now that I have “matured” my friends help to hold sway on the visual and sonic influences. I count my lucky stars that time spent with Brian, Donovan and John, both professionally and personal have made a better person and a better artist. Thank you.

Most importantly thanks goes to my wife Jennifer who helps me to remember and supports my visual musings.
